About the speaker
Stephen Knightly is an experienced technology marketer, business consultant and game designer. His role as chairperson of the New Zealand Game Developers Association (NZGDA), provides Stephen with unique insights into what is happening in the field of serious games in New Zealand and internationally.
As a board member of Creative Digital Content Auckland, Stephen runs the monthly Auckland Game Developers Meetup, and has spoken on game-based learning at NetHui and TEDxAuckland. His clients have included XBox, MTV Games, Microsoft Europe, HP to corporate work for Fonterra, IBM and many high-growth technology exporters.
Stephen is the former Director of Marketing for the University of Waikato, and is a Director of InGame and Pursuit PR, a technology and innovation marketing agency.
