New Zealand Police is the lead agency responsible for reducing crime and enhancing community safety. With nearly 12,000 staff, they provide policing services 24 hours a day and function from 371 community-based police stations around the country.
They operate by land, sea and air, and responds to more than 600,000 emergency 111 calls each year.
